1. Overview

At IQ Investigation Private Detective Agency, we are committed to client satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for our investigation services. Please read this policy carefully before engaging our services.

2. Consultation Fees

Initial consultations are completely free of charge. No payment is required for the first confidential discussion about your case. If a paid consultation is arranged for complex cases, this fee is non-refundable but will be adjusted against the total service fee if you proceed.

3. Advance Payment

A 50% advance payment is required before any investigation work begins. This advance covers initial resource allocation, agent deployment, and operational costs. The advance is partially refundable under the conditions outlined below.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered in the following situations:

  • Cancellation within 24 hours: If you cancel before any field work has commenced, you are eligible for an 80% refund of the advance payment. A 20% administrative fee applies.
  • Service not initiated: If we are unable to initiate the investigation due to legal constraints or operational reasons on our end, a full refund of all payments will be issued.
  • Mutual agreement: If both parties agree to terminate the investigation mid-way, a pro-rata refund may be issued for uncompleted work, minus expenses already incurred.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Work already completed and documented (field investigation hours, surveillance footage, reports)
  • Third-party expenses already incurred (database access fees, travel costs, equipment rental)
  • Cases where investigation was completed but results were unfavorable or inconclusive
  • Cancellation after field work has commenced (beyond the 24-hour window)
  • Client-provided false or misleading information that affected the investigation
  • Cases terminated due to client's breach of the service agreement

6. Refund Process

To request a refund:

  • Email refunds@iqdetectiveagency.com with your case reference number and reason for refund
  • Our team will review your request within 5 business days
  • Approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are dissatisfied with our service, we encourage you to contact our client relations team first. We will make every effort to resolve concerns amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter will be handled as per our Terms & Conditions dispute resolution clause.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

While we cannot guarantee specific investigation outcomes, we do guarantee professional, ethical, and diligent service. If you believe our service did not meet professional standards, please contact us within 7 days of report delivery for a case review.
